Why? Why? Why?
Why all has to be like what is it now??
Why don’t the selfish politicians think of people like us before any comment?
Why don’t the media people mind their own business and not hype the politicians??
Tell me why?


Today, Mr. Raj Thakrey was arrested for saying unacceptable things about the non-Marathi people residing in Maharashtra.
However the efforts for him not being arrested were being taken since a few days in the form of riots, processions and anti-social activities…
The riots shaked the very foundations of many non-Maharashtrians, who had made Maharashtra their ‘home’.
About 1,500 people, who were workers, businessmen, etc. who were the base of the corporate world and the whole economic stature of Maharashtra rested on their shoulders, left the state due to Raj Thakrey’s statement quoting- the state is only for the Marathi-speaking;ie. For the pure Maharashtrians of heart and soul.

Today the industries are bare with no workers; the juice-centers are vacant without a ‘bhaiyya’ proprietor…
Many people who have utilized their sweat unto its last drop for this land are today being made mere serfs!

And if you look deep into the matter, this situation has arisen due to the personal conflict between Raj Thakrey, leader of M.N.S. and Abu Azmi…
And above all, the ever-rising media hype!
The thing that pained my heart the most is that the people are ever ready for some kind of ‘hula-boo’!

Now let us talk about the riots that took place in many parts of the state…

I came across some people who are of the opinion, riots is an easy and most appropriate way to voice your demands!
I understand, supporters of Raj Thakrey would naturally dislike their leader being arrested. But ‘riots’ isn’t the solution for it!
In the past few days, buses were burnt, windowpanes of buildings were broken, many pockets faced the mob-fury in the form of stone throwing, picketing, etc

Riots have warmed up the situation. Students are unable to attend schools, colleges, and classes. Moreover, the factory owners are facing a constant threat of their factory being lit up at any time of the day!

The threat continues even far beyond this…

Basically, the statement was made for the Marathi people and by a Marathi one… clearly aiming for the increasing unemployment in the state, for which the north-Indians were considered to be the culprits.
However the base of this statement is itself wobbly!
If you say the Marathi people are so efficient and able but are remaining unemployed, why don’t they prove themselves?
Why do they need an aid for proving their caliber?
And experience up till today shows that a Marathi worker though efficient, is lazy in his work although he portrays himself well abroad… and that’s the very reason all prefer the ‘bhaiyyas’ for their labour!
It’s a simple linear equation!
Moreover, shaking the roots of the age-old immigrants is not advisable.


Doesn’t this prove you to be a hypocrite? You talk loudly of India being ONE at all times, in thick and thin, and then its you who want the north-Indians in their very north!
Is not India as a whole the body and soul of Indians?
Then why does she restrict herself in the boundaries of languages?

The hatred for emigrants is age old, it is just that, the bottled up hatred has manifested in this form.
All the people once hum in the tunes of being one, staying one and pledge that all Indians are my brothers and sisters, then is this the way to treat one’s brothers and sisters?
Why does a Maharashtrian depreciate meddling of an Indian just for the heck that he is a resident of the northern land boundary?
Hypocrisy of these has reached the apex.
What more can I say about this?

And practically speaking, Maharashtra is nothing without so many helping hands of the non-Maharashtrians!
Any field of work without the simplest aid of an outsider is unimaginable!
Then why such a hatred? Such level of storm within a teacup? Such a serious hype? And such a disaster?
